How can I make my cube solvable?

How can I tell if my speed cubes pieces were turned it messed up because I've been trying to solve it and I just can't which isn't right I typically solve it with no mistakes

Twist 1 corner and try again, if that doesn't work, twist another corner. If that doesn't work, you don't know how to solve a cube.

Just solve it as far as you can and then just take apart the unsolved pieces and put them the right way

Just make sure you're twisting them in the same direction; e.g. twist one counterclockwise, try solving, twist one counterclockwise, try solving. Doesn't matter if they're the same corner.
