DaYan 2x2 Setup

I have a new plastic DaYan 2x2, but the feeling is too crispy. I would much rather have a nice soft feeling like the old plastic. I'm stuck with only Traxxas 10k. How should I set it up to make it nice like an old plastic?

Just break it in alot.

I've had it for a year now and I've probably broken it in with like 8,000 solves.
