My new Aolong v2 came with only 4 washers. I don't have any other washer to replace them.
Should I use it as is with only 4 washers? Or maybe just remove all washers to equalize it?

Help?

The washers are there to prevent the springs from wearing away the plastic in the core, so without washers the cube may not be that durable (however it would take quite a few thousand solves for that to happen)
If you find that the sides without washers feel different compared to the other four sides, then find spare washers and put them in. If you like the aolong, replacing the washers would be good if you intend to use it as your main. Taking all the washers out would be a good idea too, balancing all sides however the cube would feel looser

Update: I felt no difference after lubing and tensioning, but anyway added a hardware set to my stickers order from thecubicle. Initially that bumped up the shipping fee by $10, but after writing to them they agreed to put it under the stickers-only cheap shipping -- that we cool of them.

When I got the package the other day I wasn't sure I wanted to take the cube apart to mess with it, but eventually did as I was worried about damage. And wow, I'm glad I did. The screws that had washers were nice and shiny, but the 2 screws without washers were all black, springs too. After cleaning, adding washers and lubing again -- happy ending.

That has happened to me with other Moyu cubes like Weilong and I have not realized until I disassembled the puzzle to lube it. Other that plastic wear (something that you have already seen with all the black plastic powder) it should not have much impact. I had to do the same, order some spare washers and install them. Problem solved!
