Old rubik's vs. Eastsheen 4x4

I searched and didn't find any threads about this, so: Are the old rubik's 4x4's as good as/better than ES 4x4's?

I personally like my new Rubik's 4x4 a lot. I can't compare it to an eastsheen, but I seriously don't see how mine could get any better for turning. The only thing is that it pops sometimes.

Yes yes much better. They can be better than Eastsheen 4x4s if they're not too loose.
