New Algorithm!

I learned OLL's R' F' L' F R F' L F and it's cousin R' F' L F R F' L' F before I learned T-Perm and still use that as my E-Perm

If you do J-Perm y2 J-Perm you get N
If you do Left-J Right J you get Y
If you do ....

Basically you only need 1 A-Perm and 1 U-Perm to form all PLL's

hey, i like this alg..guess il be using this as my E perm

thankz AvGalen!

Your welcome
and you should perform it with a x in the beginning so it becomes:
x
R' U' L' U R U' L U
R' U' L U R U' L' U
Basically that's RULU 4 times. For the OLL's the cube-rotation shouldn't be 90 degrees (I do tilt the cube though) because that gives bad look-ahead for the PLL.

To the original topicstarter: Why do you think a beginner knows T-Perm?

General rule of thumb: If you find out something that you think is revolutionary and are just itching to post it on here... don't. This is mostly if it involves an algorithm of some sort. Same thing happened, but with a Y perm a looong time ago.

E perm 2.72
2 T perms (with y2) 4.42
so the normal one is better

as i have said again, and again and again,THIS IS FOR BEGINNERS IN CFOP.understand! I did'nt ask you guys to learn and apply this in your solving, right?and ,again,I personally don't use it , it was by accident What is wrong with you guys?If all of u are beginners, comment, if not keep your hands to yourself OK?

No affence but I think everybody (including me) is a but grumpy because this is something that's kinda obvious and probably every cuber knows. It's just that nobody thinks it's useful and important enough to post.
It's like saying you can also solve a Z perm with 2x an edge 3 cycle.
And indeed this should be in the beginners section then.

I really don't understand why/how anyone can "discover this by accident". It's trivial to the point of... I really can't find words to describe this.

*Wonders: Is that silliest-post-of-the-year thread still around?*
