So I know that there are 2 main different ways to do a M2. Either using one hand, or alternating hands. I prefer using the same hand for M2's. Which one do you use, 1 or alternating hands?

1 hand is the best. 100% sure. I reccommend switching to it, unless you have been doing 2 hands for like 10 years.

source: i use roux.

my left ring finger does the initial M' and it is very quickly followed up with my right pinky finger for another M'. using one hand as shown in the gurouxs video above i believe allows for marginally faster execution, but you would never need to do M2 that fast in a solve (unless your a cfop user and your doing an algorithem) because you need to look ahead. however, if the last move of the solve is an M2 i will use the one hand technique, or if my hands slip at some point during lse.

These are good, but they don't really work with the way I grip the cube. My LSE fingertricks are a mess, really.

they're not good; they're great. I also used to use really weird fingertricks, but i switched to these. I would recommend switching. It will be hard at first, but you will get used to it. (I switched quite recently. I admit it was hard, but it was worth it).

I use one hand (ring then middle). It's better because then your other hand is more ready to do any other moves. My hands are too small to keep my fingers on the M slice and still turn the U face comfortably.

I use one hand as well, but I prefer using my ring finger both times.

They're endorsed by Tony the Tiger? I'll have to switch then I guess...

can you do D2 as a double flick? If you can, literally just move your fingers from the D layer to the M layer and do the exact same fingertrick.

? what ?

I'm not forcing you to switch, but it will definitely help.

I'm offended you would try to force your rouxligion on to me m8. How dare you suggest I try a more efficient way?

:p

Yes, I can can do a D2 doucle flick, but use my ring finger for that too. :D

well then its not a double flick...it has to be 2 different fingers...
for example: U2 is pointer pointer, U2 double flick is pointer middle.
so D2/M2 is ring ring, and D2/M2 double flick is ring middle.
