Hello to all of you!
I'm a little bit into cubing. I know how to solve a 3x3 using the beginner's method, but I'm now learning the 2-part OLL step so I don't have to repeat the same algorithm unnecessarily. I might also learn 2-part PLL, but I doubt I will try to memorize 50+ algorithms required for the speed F2L.
I have 2x2 - 5x5 cubes and can solve them all, but I need an algorithm sheet for the 5x5. I cannot decide if I should get any cubes bigger than the 5x5. I've heard that even the best ones pop a lot.
My favorite sized cube is the 4x4, especially the shengshou. But I find it odd how they have white stickers on a white-colored cube.
I got a Rubik's cube back in 2008 (ish) and my dad told me "Once you mix it up, it will NEVER get back to its original state". It turned out that it was massively difficult to solve if you don't already know how to do it. I remember thinking about that thing my dad said, and I really wanted to prove him wrong, so I decided to look on the internet for a way to solve the cube. Everybody loved Dan Brown's tutorial, but I could not understand it nor could I understand any tutorial. Eventually I peeled the stickers and put them back on the right way. Of course it got mixed up again and I never got it back, until the cube got taken apart completely and I never saw it again. So my dad was right, until I finally learned to solve it from Tyson Mao.
I've read the rules for this site and they look strict, which makes me nervous.
