This is the first cube I ever felt I wanted to post anything about. I am fairly new to all this. I have been learning the Roux method for almost 3 months now. I'm doing 2-look-CMLL and averaging 36 seconds. My PB single solve is 22.894. I have been using the following cubes (in order of personal preference):Any thoughts about it?
The Cubicle.Where did you buy the puzzle?
When did you buy the puzzle?
Almost as fast as the Weilong, but definitely more controllable. Faster than all the other cubes I mentioned above.Turning speed? (Is it just right? Too fast and uncontrollable?)
Out of the box, it feels like a mix between my Fangshi, Aolong, and Weilong. I absolutely love the feel. The scratchy sound is something I don't need, but it doesn't bother me either. I love how fast and easy to turn it is. Eventually I'm going to lubricate it internally and on the pieces to make it smoother and quieter, but for now I enjoy it the way it came. It feels very crisp and airy. It also does feel very solid; not heavy, but neither flimsy nor "shifty" nor uncontrollable. It feels just as stable as my Aolong, but faster and lighter/easier to move. What do you think about the feel of the cube? (smooth/dry/crisp/airy/etc.)
Even better than my Aolong, but that one is already pretty good, so the difference is not huge.Overall corner cutting?
None yet, and from the way it feels, at my speed, I am pretty sure I will be able to do hundreds of solves without any pops. It's really hard to try to force it to lock up on purpose.Locks or pops?
When I try to purposely twist a corner, it is much harder to do than on any of the other cubes I have, but if I do it on purpose, it is still easily possible. I rarely get corner twists, usually just on my Fangshi and occasionally on the Aolong, and I believe this cube will have even fewer corner twists than the Aolong.Does it corner twist?
Definitely not. Even though it doesn't feel quite as heavy as the Aolong V2 second batch / glossy plastic, it feels just as "expensive."Does it feel cheap? (as in the feeling where the puzzle seems to want to fall apart)
Exactly the same as my Aolong. They are pretty good, but not quite as opaque as Cubesmith stickers.Stickers and shades?
Everyone. A total noob would likely prefer the feel and performance of this cube to any of the cubes I mentioned above, just as the person on the box (Feliks) probably would. One word of caution if you actually are a total noob: All the good speedcubes are lightweight and easy to turn, which can make your very first impression of the very first speedcube you try one of "cheap plastic item." This is normal. Yes, if the cube were made out of solid cast iron, it would feel heavier, more solid, more expensive, but it wouldn't be as easy on your fingers, and you wouldn't be able to move it as fast. If all you have ever used is a store-bought Rubik's cube, your first speed cube will feel more flimsy at first, but trust me on this one: Play with the speedcube for a couple of hours, then go back and try to play with the Rubik's cube. You will put it down and never pick it up again.Whom would you recommend it to?
That's always a hard question to answer. From my perspective, definitely. I would have paid twice as much for this cube sight unseen and probably three times its actual price now that I know how good it is. At the same time, the cube (mass produced) probably cost about a dollar to design and make plus another dollar or two to market, so all in all, the price seems fair.Is it worth the price?
I ordered a HuaLong from cubezz like 1 month ago. It says the package is shipped, there isn't any tracking code though. Is such a long time to ship normal for cubezz?
Never gonna to buy from there anymore :/ Sorry.
It usually takes 20-30 days for them to ship to Spain so I wouldn't worry just yet. Taking into account their very good prices and the free shipping I don't complain at all.
I rather pay for fast and reliable shipping than get it for free but taking the consequences. Personal opinion though...
Question for everyone who has the cube, does the scratchiness eventually go away? Like all moyu cubes? I would assume so.
Normally yes it will. I don't feel it is scratchy, but instead crisp (if that makes sense). Any bit of lube will take some of it away as well.

Send them a business message asking for your tracking number and the will send you the number and the website you have to insert it to. Btw if the shipping doesnt arrive in 6 week they will give you a refund or you can ask for a reship
Yeah im still waiting for my Hualong to arrive aswell, the handling time took a week. But when i contacted them they said it had been shipped sooner but the logistics were just slowIt is probably taking longer because it was a pre-order. I don't think anybody had stock of the Hualong that long ago.
This cube is 56mm... Ugh.
More like 56,5mm. It is bigger than the Guanlong, but slightly smaller than my Aolong v2. I don't notice it while solving though.
