I agree, I know that he's put a lot of dedication into getting the WR and deserves it, but he didn't need to jump up and down for ten seconds.

Why so negative ? He's excited because he got a WORLD record. He's the best person to EVER do this. Thats kind of a big deal...

I understand where he is coming from. It is a distraction to other competitors. I know though, personally, if someone got a world record while I was competing, I'd be happy for them to cheer, because my results would likely be much more insignificant. That is just me though. If I got a world record however, I would try my best to be considerate to the other competitors.

I could understand worrying about a WR reaction if it was a BLD event. But you shouldn't lose all that much time from people yelling in a speedsolving event, and I'd much rather be there for a WR than get a decent time anyway. There's always another comp!
