The reaction was insane. Entire crowd ran over and just fell down after a bunch of screaming. Niko (who hadn't solved yet, was going to use the same scrambles, thus staying in a back room) heard the reaction but he had no idea what it was about until after he had finished solving.

The DNF was one corner clock off by one dial. Nate told me he knew it was DNF before looking at the time.

You're supposed to stop the timer at the end of the solve. Holder of 15 CRs should know that =P

Maybe he thought "oh cool that's a really fast time", " it's a DNF", "D: It was almost a WR".

He could've stopped the timer after what felt like a good solve feeling very happy, then saw the DNF and was like meh, and then looked at the timer, creating the reaction

I did pretty much the same thing when I DNF'd a solve that would've secured me NR average back at ABHC... Know that feel
