[Official] Nathan Soria DNF(1.71) Skewb Single

I see what you are saying. Maybe keeping a physical cube as reference for scrambling would help, because like my eyes got really tired from scrambling the whole day and constantly referring to a screen with small pictures. Maybe this will be implemented and it will minimize the chance of someone falling into the same situation as me :)

I don't understand why that would be really necessary though. The picture of the scramble is just on the scramble sheet, and if your/someones eyes get tired then switch and have someone else scramble. And as qq said, you would need 5 spare puzzles where if you don't have a barrier, people can see the scramble even easier now.

True. Although for skewb, the delegate and I are really the only ones that can scramble. Everyone else screw up or takes too long.

As soon as he did the solvs, he said NAR. They just said what he said.

Could it have been because there were no other American comps that weekend that hadn't already had Skewb?

He said "NAR" therefore everyone thought it was an NAR.

When it was later checked, it was actually corrected to WR.

NAR-->WR-->DNF xD

◾4b3c) Pyraminx and Skewb: The (random) state must require at least 7 moves to solve.

description of video: "Oh well. DNF because 6 move optimal is illegal :( "

I've watched the video over and over and over again and I can swear that it is a 7 move solution.

There's probably something I'm missing here, was it disqualified because it was misscrambled? Or am I just making myself look like a noob?

He did 7 moves, but if he did a cancelation it would have been 6.
