On a dutch TV show called 'Ik wed dat ik het kan' (I bet I can do it) I was asked to do the 'challenge' to solve a cube with feet in under the ridicilously easy limit of 1:30. Find out if I managed and won a 1000 euro!

Hmm, so you were required to finish close to the time limit to add suspense? If so, that's one reason I don't watch "reality" shows. But at least the contestants get money
