Hello members of the speedsolving forum. I am TheCuber1, and I am sort of a noob. Soon, I will make a youtube channel devoted to cubing. My record for using CFOP on a 3x3 is 32.63 seconds, and on 2x2 using LBL 9.24 seconds. I want to design some cubes, such as a shapeshifting 2x5x5 Megaminx. I am going to the Red Cross Cubing Open 2014 on December 13th. This will be my first comp. My goal there is to get a Sub 30 average and in 2x2 sub 13. From there, I want to just get faster. I would like some help deciding on some cubes. Feel free to PM me.

not that much of a noob man xP faster than me at least. I recommend taking steps right not to learn ortega. From CFOP, theres T-Perm, YPerm, Sune, AntiSune, and some other algs that stay the same. youd only have issues with the PBL Cases and they're easy to learn. Welcome to the forums!

(PS I recommend a Dayan 2x2, they're awesome)

I don't use CFOP though but GJ :F

I use intuitive F2L, and sort of a 2-look OLL. I know some COLL, but for PLL, I only know the 3 cycle corner perm counter clockwise and the 3 cycle edge perm counter clockwise.

Algs for PLL:
Corners:

X, R2, D2, R, U, R', D2, R, U' l

Edges:
(Holding solved edge on B face)

F2, U', R', L, F2, R, L', U', F2.
