Kabyanil Talukdar from India broke the WR mean with a mean of 27.63 and also got an NR single of 25.78
http://www.cubecomps.com/live.php?cid=677&cat=16&rnd=2

Edit: It's not WR mean because the judge forgot to keep the paper underneath the cometitior's eyes and he was given a resolve. I however think that the WR mean should stand

On further enquiry, It seems that the last solve was a 25 but the judge didnt place a paper in front of him during execution. Why is that not a legit solve?

I second this.. I have seen other solves with the same incident occurring(Angel Lim's 29BLD comes to mind first) and none of those were scrapped/given resolves.. On a sidenote, many congrats to Kabyanil :D He'll come back better and take the WR next time hopefully.. Guess it's also time to change my sig :p

Angel Lim's no paper incident was only caught after the fact. Since the incident with Kabyanil was caught at the comp, it was dealt with then and there accordingly.

Even if after an event, if it was against rules it should have been DNF'ed like many other good solves. Strictness on rules is not unfair, inconsistency is!

Are you implying that, after a competition ends, A record that is found to be 'illegal' can stay?

This is very inconsistent with previous issues of similar nature. When something is caught after the fact (wasn't there a misscramble that cost someone a NR a while back?), it seems to be constently DNF'd, even if the competitor should have received a new attempt.
