Hey together :)

I'm Toby from Switzerland.
I'm since about 1 Month a member of this forum and I love to cube!

I cube since March '14 and here are my current records:

Puzzle (Method): Single / Ao5 / Ao12 / Ao100
-------------------------------------------------------------------
2x2 (Ortega): 02.15 / 05.05 / 06.12 / 07.66
3x3 (CFOP): 12.78 / 18.89 / 20.02 / 21.80
4x4 (Yau): 01:08.34 / 01:20.15 / 01:24.69 / 01:35.96
Pyraminx (Keyhole): 02.37 / 04.56 / 04.99 / 05.96
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm currently concentrating on this events (mainly on 3x3 and Pyraminx), because there is a competition in October in Switzerland :)
For the same reason, I train 3-4 hours a day (even more on weekend).

I do also solve Megaminx / 5x5 / Skewb and a bunch of non-WCA puzzles, but non of them really fast.
I solve the 2x2 Blindfolded to train BLD-Corners. After the competition I'll learn the edges to, so I can solve the 3x3 blindfolded.

So after that a little bit more about me. I'm absolving an computer engineer apprentiship. I love to program, especially on the web.
My current private project is T2S (See this thread) and there will soon be a major upgrade.

So back to Cubing. This are my goals for this year:

2x2: Sub 5 Ao100 (Not focusing on this)
3x3: Sub 20 Ao100 (Easy to reach according to my actual avgs)
4x4: Sub 1m Ao12 (With enough practice also relative easy to reach)
Pyra: Sub 5 Ao100 (This is the toughest one, but I love Pyraminx!)

So I think, this are the most important informations, if there are any questions or so, feel absolutely free to reply, I would enjoy this!

Thank You and have a nice Day
Toby

Hi Toby,
I'm Reto, the current NR Holder of Pyra.
I hope that you break it soon, so that I'm motivated to do it more (my best ao100 is 5.17, with Polish V, but when I did the NR I had similar times to you, so basically you could do it !)

Again a competition in Switzerland in October ?
I have to check that (I'm already registered at 2 other competition in that month).

Good luck with cubing !

Hey Reto :)

To break the Swiss Pyra Avg NR was my goal since I started with the pyraminx ^^)
I thought this was the most possible NR to break for me :D So I'll do everything to break it and motivate you haha (with a bit luck in october and if not then, then at the next swiss open in 2015)

The Competition in October is organised by Thomas Stadler so on his homepage (speedcubing.ch) you'll find more.
Would be cool to see you there :)

Hey :)

I just created a little blog, where I will post short text-sequences which should document my cubing progress.
It's like a microblog about my cubing progress.

Greetings
Toby
