I decided to apply Yish's techniques to MGLS. Here you see me using them on a random scramble from CCT (which I like better than JNet). I reset CCT and even show you that I scrambled correctly (phew!).

Cheater! White wasn't on top and green wasn't in front when scrambling!
Is that your best argument.
In case you've watched any of my other videos, seen any applets on my website, or know me at all, you know that I use yellow on top, red on front for my color scheme (even BLD). So, CCT is also configured to that...
Come on!

Thus, I render your argument INVALID! :p

4d) Cube puzzles must be scrambled with the white (or the lightest colour) face on top and green (or the darkest connecting face) on the front.
Come on everyone knows this rule. I use yellow on top and red in front for BLD too, not that I've ever completed a solve...

scramble: U B2 R2 U R2 D' B2 D2 B L F2 L2 D' U' L U2 B R' B R2 L2 U2 F' B2 R

solution(27 moves lol): cross R'D2FR'
first slot LU
second slot L2U2L
3rd slot + pairing for CLS skip B'RBU2R'
ELS+CLSskip+PLL: U2RUR'U'RU2L'UR'U'LU (may have varied slightly can someone check)

i think he might have done a different j perm though but i can't really see what he was doing after the first move (so this is just what would most likely have been the solution)

R' D2 F R'
L U L'
L' U2 L
y R' F R F'
y' R U2 R' U2 R U' R'
J-perm

First I didn't want to do it because again I have no real cube with me and your hand is in the way so often, but then I saw the easy cross and just tried going with it and then used some help from the video.

Edit: Darn, you beat me by a few minutes.

Edit2: Wait a minute. You're a new user, that's your first post. Something's fishy here... (no offense to fish)

Edit3: Ok, go from "keemy" to "mykee" to "my kee" to "my key" and I claim that's Lucas himself explaining his solve. Although I'm less sure about this than about anything else I've said.

o.0 thats creepy that you know my other online alias (unless i was already registered here and didn't realize it) but yeah i wasn't going to bother posting that but then saw no one else did for an hour or so and people on irc were bothered by it so meh.

(and really stefan would lucas do something that obvious my key XDD i mean he would have at least registered it before today)

I didn't know your other alias until I looked at your profile page here, saw "devinCR", googled that, and found a post saying it's a "rowan". Then I just quickly posted that. I have no idea who you are.

oh ok well you could have tried devinCR that sounds like an actual name and checked speedcubing database for someone by the name of devin and gone though all 1 of them to see my last name initials are CR XP

I use the cube scrambler of the WCA. But more important for a unofficial time is to start with your hand on the table and stop with both hands. If I use computer timers I normally stop with a cube in my hand, this is not how it must be done, good for practise to, but I do not post such times myself.

Darn. I did search WCA and speedcubing.com for a Rowan without success. Didn't know the name Devin before. Your last name though sounds familiar (now that I saw it on WCA).

I'm I the only one that doesn't get it?
Maybe. My understanding is that this is just Lucas demonstrating how easy it is to produce a relatively good fake video. He didn't use an obscure solution, though, and also used a (possibly extended) Cube Explorer scramble, making it easy for us to detect it.

What is the point of this? I mean, it shouldn't matter as people will always solve using their preferred colour scheme. Of course if you aren't using Fridrich or similar, then using a particular colour may not work for the method. Also, if you are colour neutral, then this is useless. I don't know, but I think it's a bit silly....
