Hello fellow cubers,
Do you enjoy reading "new method" threads, while at the same time marvelling at the genius of the developers? I know I do.
If you've ever fancied having a go yourself, but just don't have the massive computing power of the top cubers' brains then my Method Development Game could be just the thing for you!
It's simple to participate - all you need is a six-sided dice and a pen and paper.
(If you haven't got any dice handy, look here.)
Roll the dice and see which sub-method applies to the number you rolled; note down what you get and you'll be in business!
Ready? OK; there are five rounds, so let's get started.
Round A
1. Cross
2. 2x2x2
3. Line
4. 2x2x3
5. D-layer Corners
6. Roll again but add EO to the result; so if you get e.g. 6 then 1 it's EOCross. If you get two sixes see below.
Round B
1. 2x2x3
2. Columns
3. Intuitive F2L slots (IMPORTANT: algorithmic not allowed)
4. CO
5. 2x2x2
6. Add a free Bonus Level (see below) and roll again
Round C
1. CP
2. Fix centres
3. EP
4. CMLL
5. Orient and permute the S layer
6. Add a free Bonus Level and roll again
Round D
Repeat round C if required.
Final round
1. CLL/ELL
2. LSE
3. COLL/EPLL
4. OLL/PLL
5. Commutator finish
6. 1-look the LL like a boss
Enjoy!
