A reconstruction of a solve is an annotation of the exact moves performed by a cuber during a solve. Reconstructions are commonly broken apart into the sub steps of the Method used by the cuber. Reconstructions mainly serve the purpose of explaining what the solver did in detail and gathering statistics about Methods and Cubers.

Moves are usually counted in both STM and ETM. Although not required, movecount and time statistics are often added.

Some cubers known for doing many reconstructions are Lucas Garron, Michael Gottlieb, Stuart Clark, and especially Rob Stuart. The first two, however, are not very active anymore.
