ZZ Method

So, I'm finally getting a lot of sub 25 solves probably because I've learned a few more PLLs and figured out a few of my own OLLs. Still, there is a good amount of PLLs and OLLs that I need to learn in order to boast the redundant "full fridrich user" After learning that Fridrich is basically the most widely used method, I figured I ought to give a different method the opportunity for me to master. I consider myself as a quick learner and I should really take the time to learn a faster method. The way I see it, a method requiring the least amount of moves has the most potential for becoming the fastest method hands down. I have my own little cube theories and what not, but what I'm trying to say is that I think there is a better method than fridrich. I've partially became obsessed with the idea of finding or creating a method for which no cube rotations are required during a solve. Now, the only time I rotate my cube, or at least used to rotate my cube is whenever I come across an F2L pair which needs to be placed in a slot towards the back of the cube. A case such as that invariably requires a B move or just a cube rotation. Now, I use [l] and [r] moves with a final M slice to correct an edge making my 'method' rotation-free. The only thing is algs requiring multiple f moves usually slows me down. Which brings me to two resolutions.

1. Get faster at F moves <--- this one probably means that I need to buy myself my first DIY
2. Switch to a different method

Now, I've came across 1 method for which no cube rotations are required and thats ZZ. Problem is, there aren't many videos for the ZZ method. I'm not trying to boast my intelligence because I know I'm no genius, but all I need is just a clear explanation on EOline and then the method is mine. Esperantanso or whatever his name is has a video on it, but he was a bit vague and didn't take any considerations as to how the 'watcher' solves the cube. I'm not here to critique anyone's videos, I just want someone to give me a clear explanation on EOline and then I'll figure out block building on my own.

What do you want? How to do EOLine? How to do EO? How to do Line? What is EO? How to recognize EO?

"A clear explanation on EOLine" is itself a pretty vague demand.

I figured out what an oriented edge looks like on my own... I just need help on the EOline as in how to make the final 'bad' edges into 'good' edges. I always end up having but 1 'bad' edge left, but I don't know how to turn just 1 bad edge into a good one. Maybe I over looked an edge, IDK, but it seems like I can't change only 1 bad edge. Maybe it's because I'm solving the line first, and then I'm doing EO... maybe... just maybe, EO comes before line in the EOline word because EO should be done before the line. IDK

You obviously have absolutely no idea what you're talking about and are pretending to know more than you do. You just busted yourself right there, buster.

oh wow

funny stuff right there

Yes... one edge cases are the hardest...

What are you talking about? How am I pretending anything. The only thing I know how to do is to tell a good edge from a bad edge. I'm looking for help on how to turn all bad edges into good edges while solving the line. There is no pretending here bud. If I was pretending anything, please.. point out where... cuz I didn't pretend anything.

OK, just let's get this down. I will make a video explaining EOLine as clearly as I possibly can. Then maybe you'll realize how easy cases with 1 edge flipped are joke

If you don't want to wait, take out an edge and flip it, scramble the cube, and then try to solve it normally.

I just finished recording my EOLine explanation. Sorry, in one part my head comes up to the camera and the bottom is cut off, but it's OK. I still need to import the video and then edit and upload though.

LMAO this thread is full of funny.

To the original poster: You are really not a fast learner if it took you a whole month to get sub60. I would consider you to be less-than-average, at the very least.
Furthermore: there is no better method than Fridrich, or some variant. Get used to it or prove us wrong. But don't insult us.
