Got my Maru CX3 springs.
I tested it with hualong - didn't like it.

The spring in Yuxin makes it looser than even my snipped yuxin springs.
There is only one tension available: loose. Tighten it, and you lose the corner cutting.

Loving it.

I don't quite understand why some people think the YuXin was slow. Out if the box, the cube popped due to its loose tensions, but I didnt quite mind because JRCuber's unboxing gave a fair warning. Because the puzzle was apart, I replaced the springs with the maru cx3 softsprings from the cubicle.us and it turns wickedly fast. I almost can't control it, but my adaptations are allowing me to get insane TPS at a higher controllability.

when I had one of these, it had an aolong feel but also not an aolong, it was nice and the plastic felt good and not cheap at all

lots of people state this cube is either super slow or super fast, mine was inbetween but definitely on the faster side

corner cutting was insane and could cut anywhere

one prominent thing about it was that it didn't pop no matter how aggressive, when I went to school with it I gave it to my friend James for a pop test who has quite a fast RUD TPS (he goddamn pops everytime I hand him one of my cubes) but this one would NOT pop on him, and so I came to the conclusion that this cube was safely unpoppable

I ended up giving it to my friend for his birthday as it'd serve him better than me and I had my gans 357 which I so loved very much and didn't want to change it for anything else

now I'm using a tanglong, thunderclap and jieyun

I purchased my Yuxin 3x3 from speedcube.com.au for $12.50 AUD, which is approximately the same price as other cube stores like the Cubicle. Out of the box, the cube was extremely flimsy and on very low tensions, so much that half of the solves I did, the cube would pop. After tightening the cube a lot and lubing it with Maru lube, it almost never pops and feels quite smooth. The cube feels quite slow and sluggish, much slower than cubes like the Aolong, which I personally don't like, but others may enjoy this feeling. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cube if you enjoy slower cubes and have a slower turning style.

I got a new yuxin in white on Thurs - for some reasons, I find it better than the black. Without lube, and other than loosening the tension, it is already amazing. The tightness is still there but over time I don't think this will be an issue.

My problem, of course, is that I am a bit slower in recognition for white cubes :o

Previously tried maru lube which didn't give significant effect.
After that I went without lube. Cube was controllable but fast.

I thought I would try 30K differential oil on the black recently - wow - the cube became much faster, to the point where I have to tighten the tension...Maybe this is one reason why some cubers find the cube "uncontrollable".

These days cubes are so similar, I guess all that's left to compare is lockups/catches, speed and feel.
lockups/catches - yes, but I'm not the most accurate turner
speed - ehh, its moderate kind of like the tanglong, I can see how it can annoy some people (btw, switch with the maru CX3 soft springs and it's easily faster than my other cubes such as the thunderclap, hualong, 356, meiying, idk how it stacks up to fangshi puzzles)
feel - its incredibly crunchy and clicky, kind of like a tanglong and thunderclap meshed together (with the soft springs, its those cubes meshed together ON ROIDS ITS SO FAST)
main con - flimsy for me and not the most cubic puzzle

Another note is because of it's added indents on the edges, there are LOTS of contact points on the cube which causes the clicky sound and crunchy feedback. I feel like because of this lubing this with higher viscosity lube won't work out too well. It's a good cube without springs and a great cube with soft springs. Just not quite for me because it feels more flimsy than a hualong.

Where: I got it Premium from the Cubicle.
When: Late November this year, so recently.
Thoughts: This. Cube. Is. Awesome. It cornercuts 60, and reverses amazingly, the popping/cornertwisting is a little excessive, but not so much so that's it's annoying (COUGHdayan2x2COUGH).I love the feel, and the turning is really quick so I use a lighter turning style on it. I got my PB single of 10.78 on it, so it's pretty much definitely absolutely my main.

Where I got it: zcube.hk
When I got it: September (a long time ago)
Thoughts: This is a great cube. Corner cuts quite well, and speed is decent for a sub-60 solver like me. On a side note: The stock springs get worse over time (it makes the cube lose it's speed and (sometimes) corner cutting), so the Maru CX3 soft springs are definitely a must. I will remove this bit if it has already been said.
Corner twisting is a MAJOR problem. I have a corner twist literally every 10 solves, so yeah. I am a sort of rough turner, so, yeah. My tensions are extremely loose, as I like the feel of it. It makes the cube pop A LOT (even more than my Zhanchi), but I don't care that much.
Also, for some reason, I keep on losing corners! Is it me, or just bad luck lol
I heard that the YuXin is a highly modified Aolong. It feels (to me) nothing like the Aolong.
After breaking it in (slightly), lubing it with weight 3 on the core and maru on the pieces and putting in the soft springs, it was quite fast. A little after working in the lube, it gained a slightly bumpy feel which I like. Makes me think of my Zhanchi. A great cube for a great price!

I have yet to ever have a single corner twist or pop. I would really try tightening the cube a little bit. There is a fine line between a loose feeling cube and being just ridiculous.

Yuxin 3x3 is amazing!!!!!

Okay, so today I got a Yuxin 3x3 and it was amazinggggg out of the box. its crispy, smooth and damn fast. yeah there are a few lockups here and there but i'll set it up soon. and one awesome thing happened today. i was just just practicing with my yuxin 3x3 and i got my single pb- my first ever sub 15 solve and Ao12 pb!!!!! Its a great puzzle!

Also can anyone tell me that when should i break it in and lube it. well i've done about 150 solves as of now. and which lube should i use? my cube out of the box was very fast and still is but i dont want it to be too gummy as i do not like that feeling but i also dont want to make it faster. like, i want the same crispy feeling and its smoothness and speed after lubing it. is that possible? please help

Thoughts on the puzzle:
A very good, smooth, quick puzzle. Massive improvement on my previous cheap knockoff. Corner cutting is good, easy to assemble and disassemble for maintenance. It's popped maybe once, but I've had the corner cubies twist and jump a few times when it catches on corner cutting. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend it, it's very good and very smooth.

Did any of you get washers pre installed?(I didn't)
The cube itself is very good and is my current main!
