WTF how does he have this already? Ive thought this in the past but now i can TOTALLY say it. it is SO not fair how he always gets WAY better at EVERYTHING and he can practice for only a FEW DAYS. TOTALLY not fair but whatever...... crazy friggin nakajima...

He's not that good. First of all, he's been doing these solves on carpet. That's cheating. It's so much easier to do that, it's not even funny. Second, he probably has done magic for 5 days straight, and nothing but magic. Getting down to low 1s is not that hard. It's quite easy if you just move fast. Basically, he's not that good...

I'm sorry I don't have a magic and I've never touched one. How is it easier to solve?:confused: Because you're doing the magic in the air, not on the floor. Or is it easier to pick up?

No, it's not that I'm jealous, its that I'm tired of hearing how great Yu Nakajima is. I mean, yes, he's good at stuff, but he's not THAT amazing. I just really get tired of hearing a bunch of people praise him for something that really isn't that great. With youtube comments like "you'll get the WR soon! you're so close!" it just gets annoying. .93 is nowhere even remotely close to .86 and like I said, he's not using a table. I bet he won't even get a sub 1.2 average at his first competition.

Picking up the magic is almost half the solve. Having it on carpet makes it 10000000% easier to pick up, making all of your solves faster.

Picking up the Magic for me takes probably 0.75 seconds. That's part of why I'm still not sub-2 yet. (But I finally got a single 1.97 2 days ago! My first ever sub-2 single solve!) Do I stink or what?

It's OK Mike. I mean sure your daughters may completely pwn you in a couple years, but you will always pwn us in big cube BLD. Except for Chris Hardwick. Slightly easier? Yes. But, even though it is easier, getting down to under a second in 5 days have to speak for something.

Not really... Magic is about moving fast, period. We already know he can move fast, and with the amount of practice you can do in 5 days, low 1s are not that hard.

i think that's just silly...you don't know what he does outside of his cubing, u just make stupid assumptions because hes good at what he does...

He's the world record holder for goodness sake. He did 8.72, twice, at an official comp. Ever seen anyone do that? No. Can YOU do it? No. So get over it.

Sure, the magic is way easier on the carpet, but you can't deny that he's still very very fast.

And wrt to cubing - he's faster than you. End. No need to go on about how he has no life and what not, his life is HIS business. In any normal person's eyes, Rubik's cubes are "nerd" toys in any case, so in essence, you're as much of a loser as he is.

I'm not hating on him because he's fast at 3x3. I think he's insane. His turn speed blows everyone out of the water. I'm just saying, being good at magic in a couple of days isn't that impressive. As we all know, he's insanely fast at turning. That's ALL magic is, is turning fast. I have really nothing against him... but my issue is with everyone thinking he's GOD because he can turn really fast.
