[YTUWR] 0.58s Skewb Solve

Last edited:
Solution must be at least 7 moves, so it doesn’t count.

Edit: it also looks like Tanzer has a faster one but it probably isn’t 7 moves either.

Edit 2: Scramble in video and description also do not match up, which means the solve is in fact, fake. Have a dislike

I noticed that too but he made a point by claiming it as YTUWR instead of UWR

Something had to not be correct since I'm pretty sure CSTimer does have a check for minimum solve lengh

This could very well just be due to copying the wrong scramble, you know.

The scramble sequence shows up on screen briefly (and somewhat blurred), but it does match the scrambled cube.

But if the scramble is, in fact, correct, that still doesn't explain how it happened to show up.
If it was a misscramble, it would be another story, but as you said, it is correct

You can input pre-defined scrambles in CS, right?

Yeah, that's a possibility. I just don't think "the scramble in the video description differs from the scramble used" is a strong argument, or even an argument at all, against the validity of the solve.

It could be a bug in csTimer, but people should've noticed the "illegal" scrambles much earlier if they were indeed showing up.
