So I got a YJ MGC Elite with professional setup from the cubicle and the cube felt really locky, and the corner cutting is really bad.

I previously owned a different YJ MGC Elite without a professional setup that I had lost, and the cube felt much better than this.

Does anyone know why the cube could be very locky? Is it the setup or could it be something else?

Wait, 2x2 or 3x3?

For 2x2, it's probably tensioned unevenly. One side could be much looser or tighter than the other. Tighten them all to a certain point where you feel resistance, then unscrew them all to the same amount.
It's with out of the box tensions

I heard Ram say that he uses out of the box tensions in a video once so they are probably decent
