About that, I framecounted his second solve(from pickup to timer stop) and got 116~118 frames, which is 3.87~3.93 seconds. The actual solve time is 3.97 seconds. So there's a slight chance this was done with sliding (0.04 seems a little too short for a pickup), but it's probably not. (Or maybe I messed something up badly bc I pretty much figured out how to do this by myself💀)

I looked through it frame by frame and he picks his hands off the timer JUST a little late but he's not touching the cube
He takes 0.05 seconds to pick up the cube + more time to start turning and 0.05 seconds to stop the timer, because he brings the cube down just as he's almost done turning, so by the time he's done it's almost touching the table
