[AsR] Yiheng Wang 3x3 Single: 3.38

Not that I think the general idea here is incorrect, but I will point out that you’re comparing the fastest round in history to a round where a lot of people performed subpar
To add on, the sub-5 “podium” at this Chinese comp was not the final round so not really a podium
Tbf, this also isn’t “a normal comp in china” It’s the fastest top-3 in history. Yes… it isn’t a major championship, but this isn’t just a typical thing that happens in china
Yeah I understand (it was joke) but it definitely shows how much talent there is in china, just not a lot of competitions

Nope, touching the cube (and not his warmup cube) before the paper was signed, which by the WCA rules is a plus +2. Funny enough, there was no sliding this solve, which just makes this whole situation even sadder for Yiheng
I believe this is another low 3 he got
Assuming SkewbIsTheBestEvent is talking about the 3.27? Because that was DNFed for touching the cube(imo unfairly) but I think the 3.38 was sliding. Quick note- signing the score sheet isn't in the regs, only 'an inspection by the judge'

No, that was the 3.27. The 3.38 was penalized due to sliding
