I REALLY don't understand his site:confused:, I'm trying to get the algs cos I might look into using it when I avg. sub 18. His site I really have no clue what is happening and I kind of am asking for a link to an alg sheet. Can you also please descibe the differances between th differant ZB methods, ZBLL, ZBF2L etc. thanks:)
PS. On this tread in another forum this guy learnt it and he said he averaged 12.6x with his first full avg. of ZB!

Ok dude do you have any idea what ZB is? I don't even know of any speedcuber that knows the entire method.
As for an alg sheet there are none. You can get algs sheets lol.
Ok here is a run down of the method.
Full ZB contains both ZBF2L and ZBLL.
ZBF2L solves the last slot and simultaneously orients the edges or the LL
ZBLL then solves the rest of the cube in one alg.
There are a total of around 800 algs for this method if you count mirrors adn inverses as seperate algs which if you count fridrich as 78 algs then you do.
Jason Baum is as far as I know the farthest in learning it...
Anyway for algs check Jason's site Lars' Site and Chris Hardwick's site.
Also please use the search function so you know what you are getting into before create a thread that makes you look like a complete noob.

I was/am going to choose the most promising algs and make the lists more usable (pictures, etc.), but don't know if/when I'll do it. Bernard Helmstetter's list is quite nice, but I wish he would've given more algs (or chosen them differently).

Last edited:
1. Cross + 3 F2L Pairs
2. 4th c/e Pair + Orientation of LL Edges
3. Permutation of the Last-Layer

Step 2 is what is called ZBF2L and step 3 is ZBLL.

It takes a lot of time to remember the algorithms so I would suggest you get to very good average first(say sub-16) so that you need not practice your main method too much while learning ZB as you will already have a pretty good average. This way you can practice ZB without messing up your regular times using Fridrich. A better suggestion, however, might be to learn the VH method which is a sort of a stepping stone from Fridrich to ZB. You can find it on Dan Harris's site.

If you want to learn ZB I recommend Chris Hardwick's page and Jason Baum's possibly for the best set of algorithms.

When you're only at sub-18, you don't need to do ZB yet.

That's what I was going to say.
