note - I didn't want to post this in Official WCA Competitions as this is far from official. This seemed like the next best place. If it becomes official, I will ask a moderator to move it.

As I stated above, this is far from official.
A venue shouldn't be a problem, there is a good place that we could most likely get for free.

NEEDS FOR COMPETITION:
1. A delegate. Ofc you have to have one to have a WCA competition.
2. Organizers, CitricAcid and I would obviously do this but we may need 1 or 2 more to help.
3. Stackmats and timers. Would anyone be willing to lend these?
4. Competition Displays. I think that Speed Stacks lends these to people.
5. People to come. I think that this wouldn't be a problem as there are many cubers in the Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, etc. area. If you would like to come, please let me know by posting in this thread. It would be worthless to have a competition that nobody would come to.

Also, if a delegate could come down, please let me know as soon as possible. We should be able to work something out with transportation. The area is North-Central West Virginia (Bridgeport/Clarksburg area, to be exact), and we would probably hold it in mid-June.

Discuss!
Thanks.

Depending on the date I would be interested in this and I have two timers I could bring with me as well. However, it depends on whether I am racing or not, June is a busy month for me during race season.

Speedstacks will lend both to you as long as you can pay for shipping.

I think that this wouldn't be a problem as there are many cubers in the Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, etc. area.

If you're in that area you should contact the KOII speedcubing club. I'm sure they'd be more than happy to help out.

There's no "no" option? We have to go?

[Offtopic] Does anyone else get confused when they see WV & think it stands for Winter Variation?[/Offtopic]

Are you sure? People always say this and they run into trouble.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure. It's a big gym in a school with lots of room, and a stage.
CitricAcid said that other people can get it for events in the summer and that he was pretty sure that they would let us have it for a day or two. We still have to ask, though. If that doesn't end up working out, there are other places.

Any ideas on the dates? I can help out before/after and I have two timers I can bring as well however, the date is important because I have a race on the weekend of June 20th.
Every other date for me should be fine.

I'd try to come. and if I did I could help out with judging and scrambling for all events I don't do (and I don't do many events only 2-4 and oh and maybe magic)
