WTB 7x7x7 VCube part

YES, I HAVE contacted Verdes innovations, and I was as polite as a nice little girl asking Santa for a pony for Christmas. Since I told them that I bought the cube from ThinkGeek, they insisted that I contact them for help instead.

Have you contacted thinkgeek? If so and they declined, then tough noogies. That's why I always buy from the manufacturer if I can.

I contacted ThinkGeek, and they allowed for a return, but I chose not to. I'd rather keep the cube, since the cube can still stay together fairly well even without the piece.

I DID tell Verdes that I was willing to pay for any costs, but they insisted that I talk with ThinkGeek...

$3 seems fair for 1 piece from a ~$50 dollar, ~200-piece cube. Of course, people will probably only sell a piece to me if their cube is broken somehow, but oh well...

I suspect someone popped it then could not find or reach the piece. (I will delete this reply if Elmo gives an answer.) That piece is the most typical piece popped on a V7, in my opinion.

I made a stupid decision to bring it to school the day after I received the V7. I play with it all morning, and all is fine up until my friends and I head to the lunchroom. At the lunchroom, I lend the cube to my friend. He plays with it, and apparently a piece pops out unnoticed. After he hands it back, my friends notice that it is gone, and we looked all over the lunchroom, even after everyone had left.

Never bring your good cubes to school. Never. Especially if you have non-cuber friends who don't know how to handle cubes at all.
