[AsR] [WR2] Yiheng Wang 2x2 0.87 Average?

Do you have any evidence for this or are you just calling to have a competitor, who is capable of getting these times legitimately, banned because you're feeling vindictive today. Just because he has past history with breaking regulations doesn't mean it's a straight jump to the gun of judgement. Suspicious, sure; I'm suspicious, but I haven't seen anyone doing a frame count analysis yet to see if this needs to be disqualified.
Have you? If so, please share your findings instead of spreading inflammatory messages.
He should've been punished the first time he broke the regs. tired of seeing new insane averages that get penalized in a week anyway, he only gets special treatment because hes the current fastest and the outrage against the WCA would give them bad pr. If any other solver was caught cheating as many times as he did they wouldn't hesitate to take action

I agree with this sentiment to an extent in that I feel the WCA has shown what I would call "favouritism" towards Yiheng in the past; however, I think every result should be scrutinized independently and I do not think it is constructive to immediately jump to brash conclusions based on former events (though it would righteouly call for suspension). I do not think the WCA treats verifying records with as much integrity I think is deserved. They've been expressing how they want to be considered a serious sport and be recognised on a larger stage but they do indeed have a past of sweeping infractions under the rug and not properly addressing results that if treated meaningfully would not be allowed to stand. There's something to be said about the last Yiheng 2x2 WR controversy in that they (the WCA) did not keep it verified but if the new ASR is invalid I think they need to step up and at that point, I'm on your side.

Tldr; I hope the WCA handles all records with great scrutiny but let's not jump to conclusions just yet until there's substantial evidence.

Ur actually reasonable, rare these days. he obviously can get these times but i think given his past and comp nerves hes more likely to be sliding on most solves. i love 2x2 and love seeing wrs but it just gets tiring having to wonder if this person is cheating or not

Yeah bro is obviously going to be competing in the wild surrounded by monkeys and apes
Bronx zoo rubik's cube competition 😍

But yea I feel like if it is found out to be sliding they (judge and maybe spectators) should be more observant during the solve? Also that he should break the habit of doing it
