First of all, I work out for over 2 hours almost everyday. My hands get torn apart from lifting all of the heavy weights and bars. Second, I work at the local food store as a meat associate. We work with our hands the whole entire time. There are major flucuations in temperatures. This includes the million degree hose and the freezer. I'm constantly burning my hands with the hot hose and always touching freezing metal trays or machine parts, etc.

Will this affect my cubing???

Using your hands can only strengthen them, unless you develop arthritis (or carpel tunnel). It should be alrite. (i think)

Fgsfds, you can't get arthritis from using your hands. >.o

Its a pet peeve of mine, when people say that. Especially when they say that about cubing.

Arthritis is auto-immune.

Are you sure? My mom has arthritis and she/doctor says that it's because she plays piano a lot & used to work at a job that had tons of typing.

Ah, I was referring to rheumatoid arthritis. But I assume there are different types.

Upon looking it up, there's osteoarthritis which is caused by physical trauma.

Sorry about that, I made a generatlization on something that was only partially true.

No auto-immune doesn't fit, maybe sarcoidosis?
It's definitely not lupus.

You should talk about this with your coach/gym teacher/manager/nurse/doctor, depending on where you're at (school, work, other).
