Yeah, I saw that too, and I thought he had started earlier, but they started the timer with it solved like that. Who konws, maybe they did it to make him seem faster.

What he said was probably just a guess. But from what I heard (from non-cuber friends), they normally claim that that "it's easier to get a few colours correct, but the last colour(s) is always the hardest" or something along that line.

Hmm... maybe it's because they rearranged some of the stickers earlier on?

pieces or colors or whatever. They know there are separate pieces. I also heard alot that they can do the cube to a certain point but the last pieces are so hard to do without messing up the other parts. That was what I was referring to.
