lately, when i solve a cube, my right hand cant seem to get used to it. theres still wierd feeling of powerlessness in my right hand fingers. i can't seem to make the turns on the cube correctly.

has anybody gone through this before? because i'm kinda worried about it because the feeling is
1)annoying
2)affects my cubing times
3)just down right weird

Sounds like repetitive strain injury (RSI). Weakness, numbness or tingling in the fingers, can be accompanied by severe pain in the wrist and hands. It's commonly caused by activities that required small, repeated movements of the fingers and hands, exacerbated when the wrists are held an a non-neutral position for extended periods. Sound like anything you do?

I've gotten it from typing (I'm a programmer) and from playing the guitar, but it's made me very aware of the symptoms, so I've been cautious of it during marathon cubing practices. The underlying cause is the inflammation of the soft tissue in the carpal tunnel in your wrist squeezing the nerves that pass through it.

You should take a rest. Concentrating of maintaining a natural, neutral position of the wrist while cubing should help keep it from coming back. If it gets really bad you may need to go to a doctor, but it doesn't sound that bad yet. However, I am not a doctor, though I do play one on TV.

thats exactly what happened to me once i practiced my 5x5 and megaminx like crazy. itll go away soon
