Why was my username change rejected/can I get an appeal?

I recently applied to change my username to "jan_Aki" so that my online alias was the same across websites but it got rejected, and if I was given a reason then I can't find it. Does anyone know why it would be rejected/can I get an appeal?

The name comes from the toki pona language. The "jan" part is like an honorary and "Aki" is "Halqrius" rearranged to fit toki pona phonotactics, which is a common practice in the community. Literally, it means "the person named Aki"
toki! (I don't speak the language though. Started to learn it but didn't went through)

How do you apply to change your username?

How do you apply to change your username?

As was posted earlier in this thread:

In order to prevent every member from changing their username and making it confusing on the forum, we only allow premium members to change their username - which has been the case since the beginning:

Hope that helps.

You must pay to be a premium member in order to change your username.
