Why was Macky in France?

[OregonTrail]

I'm not sure if there was a thread on this already, but Shotaro Makisumi won the Toulouse Open 2010 two days ago in Toulouse, France with an average of 13.43.

Was he on vacation there? Is he studying there?

I didn't know that he still goes to comps.

Perfect source, perfect answer.

He still goes to competitions, but strangely only when Joey Gouly is there.
He was there for US Nationals 2009 (as was Joey), last weekend in Toulouse (as was Joey) and he will come to Benelux 2010 (as will Joey).

Bro-mance?
