Why am I not getting faster

I know there is a thread similar to this one, but I can't understand why I am not getting faster. My times are around 25-35 secs. I know full PLL and almost full OLL. I use intuitive F2L, though I know all the algorithms for F2L. My fastest PLL is about 2 secs(T perm). I think I use pretty good flow and lookahead, but I don't get faster. What's wrong?

No matter how good your lookahead is, it can always use improvement. Hell, even Feliks' lookahead isn't perfect. Also, your solutions for certain pairs may be either non-optimal or non-ergonomic, both of which can make your times worse. Some videos might help us.

There are three ways to reduce times: You turn faster, you pause less, or you become more efficient. I recommend filming yourself, and post it so people can give you advice on where your weakness is.

In general, if you pause too much you work on lookahead. If you're inefficient, watch walkthrough solves or study reconstructions to find faster ways of doing things. If you turn too slowly, practice algs.

There was a time where just passing time and a few solves/learning new things here or there would get me faster, but at around your level, that's when it started becoming harder to progress becuase I actually had to start really practicing. Try doing like 30 times solves a day in a session, you'll start seeing yourslef improve.

Do like 100 solves turning slowly and focusing as much as you can on lookahead. Then time 100 more turning how you do now.

Record a solve (or a few) and watch them. You never realize how much you pause until you see yourself doing it.

By the way, if you really think that "you're not getting faster" then it's only going to get exponentially harder. Unless you are doing 200 solves a day, for months on end, with zero improvement, then something's wrong. You can always find ways to improve. In my opinion, especially at your speed, you shouldnt even be saying that you can't get faster unless you are doing literally all you can to improve. So really, just practice, and be patient, rinse, repeat.

Also, lookahead helps. A lot. A real lot. I have a video on my YouTube channel if you want on lookahead.
