This is a thread to see what everyone likes to solve on, white cubes or black cubes!
I personally solve black cubes because of the contrast, I think they look cooler (except on Square-1), and of course, like everyone else, my first cube was a Rubik's Brand, and all Rubik's are black.
So post if you like black or white cubes, why you like that color, and if you switched colors, why you did!

I have a dream.
...
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all cubes are created equal.
I have a dream that my four little cubes will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their plastic, but by their performance
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of enslaved black cubes and the sons of black cube owners will be able to sit down together at a table of cuberhood

For me it just depends on the stickers that are on the cube I think. I like both black and white cubes, kind of just depends on my mood which one I use. Sticker contrast is a factor though. I have a black Lingyun and white Guhong, and with the DaYan stickers on it is some times hard to tell green from blue on the Lingyun if a shadow is on the cube, but this doesn't happen nearly as much with the white Guhong. In full light there isn't a huge difference, for me.

I own a mix of black and white cubes and find that switching between them consecutively helps to promote becoming CN. To top it off, I tend to use different sticker contrasts on my cubes.
For example;

BLACK CUBES

Store bought > Cubesmith tiles, standard color scheme. Orange and red share a similar hue making them hard to tell apart in low artificial light conditions.
C-III > Thin stickers. Orange, red, green and blue are very dark. I need to resticker this cube.
LingYun > Again, Cubesmith regular scheme.
MF8 Legend > Same issue as the C-III

WHITE CUBES

AV-f > Cubesmith high contrast with black stickers instead of white. Red and orange look identical in low artificial light. Can't use this cube in low light conditions at all.
F-II > Cubesmith high contrast with white stickers on the white face. To make it interesting, I switched the stickers on the orange and red faces. Can't use this cube in low light conditions (see AV-f).
Ghost Hand II > This cube still has its original stickers which are the best on any 3x3x3 that I've seen so far. Would be a waste to replace them.
AV > Light color Cubesmith tiles. Pink and purple instead of yellow and red. When I solve this cube after not using it for a while, my color recognition skyrockets for the first 10 or so solves, then it levels out again. I would recommend getting a set of these tiles for one of your cubes be it black or white.

STICKERLESS

LingYun > Color recognition is superior to any of my other cubes. If you don't own a stickerless cube and don't mind the fact that it isn't competition legal, try one.
GuHong > Same as the LingYun. This cube has a manufacturing defect. One on the orange cubie faces is washed out and lighter than the others. Extremely distracting.
