Which averages are worth using?

[T_adapledge]

So this might seem like a weird question but I have only ever used mo3, ao5, ao12, and ao100 so I was wondering if an ao25 or ao50 would be more beneficial when comparing my times and progress and give a better indicator of my skill or is it better to just use and compare all of them. Dont know of you understand what I am trying to say but any help is apprreciated.

It depends according to the event we are grinding.

For my main event 5BLD, ao5 is a good measure, and success rate and mean is good enough metric to evaluate progress.

For 3x3 i use ao50
4x4:ao12
5x5:ao12
skewb:ao50
pyra:ao50
2x2:ao100
