I've been trying to switch to the bottom, but I keep on going back to the evil master... The top! Although, it would be cool to get sub 20 with cross on top, I might try that.

Why do people hate on top cross? If you put the last edge in with something like r2 rather than L2, you skip the cube rotation as well. It's just as easy as bottom and just as fast.

lookahead :)
personally, i have always made to solve cross on bottom, but occasionally i do it on top if its easier to see all the pieces/do what you said... im also opposite colour neutral, yellow (or black) over white, so its generally quite flexible for me:)

that said, i am dire when it comes to more difficult crosses...

Escher: You do also realise that the current WR was done with making cross on top. (refering back to when you said cross on top was blasphemy)

As shelley said, with the r2 / L2 thing, but is that really cross on top or cross on bottom? I remember first seeing this in the 11.75 Jean Pons, it's a great idea, I'm upset I havn't managed to use it yet.

that was many moons ago joey, when i was far less wise. (plus akkersdijk is so sickeningly good i think he can do what he likes...)
;)

i think ive decided 'flexible guidelines' are much better than rules.
i think im decisive now.
