When I solve the cube to the last bit, it just happens like this.................:(

What's wrong?????

Hi martian, its easy, have a look at this:
If your cube still does not solve then another position it can be in is to have the whole cube solved except for one edge is flipped like this,

edgeflip.gif

Image taken from Speedcubing.com

Now hold your cube as in the diagram and do the move
r ² B ² U ² l U ² r ' U ² r U ² F ² r F ² l ' B ² r ²

What are the notation for 4x4

Are mine correct?

R= Right
R* = right and right Inner right
r = inner slice only

~~~~
Also when you get that and dont have a 3x3 PLL algorithm/OLL
It is called a Parity. Which only the 4x4 can have. (unless Blindsolving)
Thanks a lot!!!!!!!!:D
By the way, can I find this algorithm on the Internet?
I highly suggest NOT learning from Dan Brown's tutorial unless you wish to learn way more than you need to.
There's nothing wrong with learning more than you need to. In fact, I think Dan Brown's videos are a great start. He is well-spoken, and he goes through each step slowly enough for a beginner to follow along and understand.
I learned the parity from cubestation.com
r2 B2 r' U2 r' U2 x' U2 r' U2 r U2 r' U2 R2 U2
r is the slice and outer layer
I know! I can solve a 4x4x4!:D
if you have any future parity alogorithms you can type 4x4 parity algorithms you can type it into google and steven pochmans (sorry for any misspelling of the name =] ) website should come up
