Hey everyone! I'm tanner and I live in Texas. I have a best friend who is a speed cuber and got me into solving a Rubik's cube! (He can solve at an average of 15 seconds) I started messing around with my old crappy rubiks brand cube then I finally looked up how to solve it! Then once I got my time to below 2 minutes I bought myself a shengshou wind (suggested by my friend) and after learning f2l I got my time down to a pretty consistent 1:20-30 but my fastest time overall is 1:08. If you have any questions or any tips/ tricks let me know. Also where should I go from here?

welcome :)
at this point with your times its all about practice and learning new things as much as possible, so don't worry you'll improve steadily c:

welcome to the forums :D i would suggest making sure you have 2 look OLL and 2 look PLL memorized, and just practice, also, if you don't find your cube the best for your turning style, try a zanchi or aolong v2

Welcome to the forums! Like people have said, practice is what it's all about. In time, you will find faster and faster solutions for f2l pairs, and recognition will become wicked easy. You don't have to learn anything fancy to get faster. Hell, I average sub-13 and the only thing new I learned was full OLL.

I recommend learning full PLL early. It's only 21 algorithms. That may sound a bit intimidating, but they're pretty easy to execute and recognition is pretty simple.

What do you think I the best way for learning 2-look algorithms?
