So, I just did a breakdown of my times, and this is what I came up with...

Code:
Cube:3x3x3
Method:Fridrich Method
Countdown:15sec.
Remove the best and worst:1 attempts
Date:2008-7-9 20:50:59

Index Cross F2L OLL PLL Total
1 (3.160) [24.172] [9.438] (6.510) 43.280
2 7.934 22.161 (5.496) 6.663 42.254
3 5.700 (20.052) 6.434 6.556 (38.742)
4 [8.932] 20.981 8.007 [15.019] [52.939]
5 4.284 23.140 5.955 12.034 45.413
Average 6.002 22.101 7.066 9.356 44.525
Average of 5.972 22.094 6.798 8.417 43.649
all but the fastest and slowest attempt

Scramble patterns
1 B F2 D2 B2 L R2 D U' B F' U B' F' D2 B L' R' D2 B2 L2 R B2 F L R2
2 D2 U L R D2 U2 L' B F2 D2 L D' U F L' R U2 B' F2 R F L' U2 R U'
3 U' B U' B' F2 L2 F2 R' F R' F2 L B2 F2 R' B F D B2 F D2 U' L' R' D
4 D' F' D B F' D2 U2 R' D U2 R' D' U2 L2 D2 B2 L2 U F L2 B2 D' U' R' F2
5 R' B2 F2 U B2 D U' L2 U R B' D' L2 R' B L2 R2 F U2 L' R D2 U2 L U

I use a 4LLL and intuitive F2L.
I'm frankly disappointed with my cross and LL, especially PLL...
But if I was to work on only one thing, what would you suggest I work on? (Like a stage, don't say look ahead or finger tricks.)

>.>
Well I actually started out with Petrus. The block building just didn't work too well for me.
So, I'll add the qualification, within Fridrich, what should I work on?

i think the easiest thing to do now to get a rapid decrease in times would be to spend more than 15 seconds for inspection..look at all the pieces for the cross..and then close your eyes and try solve the cross...do that for a while and then limit yourself to 15 seconds...

thats what i did and i can get my cross in under like 3 seconds 9/10 times(still could use help)

Cross can definitely be faster, you don't need to be sub 20 to be able to do a sub 3 or sub 4 cross.

F2L times are pretty consistent, you will get faster as you work on it. Nothing much to say there, try to move to sub 20.

OLL, can be faster. F R U.../ F U R... shouldn't take more than 2 secs at most. OLLs with edges oriented should take no more than 3 secs. This part can be 5 seconds total.

PLL is the same thing as OLL, A and U perms are fairly fast, I'd give you 5 seconds here.

3 + 20 + 5 + 5 = 33. You can shave off 10 seconds, just by working on a few things here and there.

Start learning PLLs and try to be more fluent with your F2L, if you want to be faster.

After you get to 33-35, you should be looking to get 3+15+4+3= 25 with 3LLL. Then work from there.

I recommend you to start your own thread (which you now did) and to stop "stealing" the thread that someone else started
