My times now are around 40-50 seconds. My PB is 34.xx.

This is how I solve the cube:
Cross
F2L
Orient Edges
Orient Corners
Permute Corners
Permute Edges

I can get the Cross and F2L done in around 20-25 seconds, my last layer is really bad. What can I do now to get faster? I have tried the metronome thing, and I am pretty bad at that, if I keep practising with the metronome will it help me in an actual solve?

Ok.... the post before me was pretty blank, so I hope this can help.
First things first, Your cross and F2L is OK, I get around the same thing as you, I just did a solve for F2L and got 21.25. The best way to do that, is learn a COUPLE of algs to help you, then do the rest intuitive, and sometimes, when it takes you a bit longer, learn another alg.

The OLL, well, IMO: Is the hardest of them all, I do the same thing you do, 3 look LL. So I only know 9 algs for the OLL. the best thing here is practice, then once you feel ready, go for the 57 OLLs, and memorize them all.

PLL, ahh... I reccommend learn these ASAP!
I'm already almost there, I only need 3 more to learn, then I'm done, just learn all these and u'll be good :)

Hope I helped!

Or just learn to execute that 4-look LL quickly. What you should do depends a lot on what you want to do.
