What teachers say to cubing students

This thread reminds me of when I had to do a book report, so I did it on Cracking the Cube, which is a book about cubing, and at the end of the presentation, I took out a 3x3 and stackmat, and solved it. I’m not exactly sure what the teacher said, but upon seeing the cube, a lot of classmates said that they can solve “1 side,” or “2 sides,” or “the green side.”

*teacher takes your cube*
*you try to ask it back*
Teacher: You already have enough cubes in your collection, why is giving this one back necessary?

You have so many students in your class, why should it bother you if one fails their exams because they were cubing instead of listening to you?
