[Help Thread] What should I do in this scramble / case / angle thread

Hi! Haven't made a (serious) thread in a long while, and this popped in my mind. I decided to look for a thread like this one because I thought it would be a great addition to the site and a lot of us cubers sometimes have unique ways of solving different scrambles that we should share. Figured we would simply give an example of a strange situation in a scramble or speedsolve and show how we would solve it, perhaps showing other cubers what we would do for their scenarios.

I didn't see any threads like this one, but that doesn't mean it doesn't belong in another help thread somewhere.

I'll start, of course:

For CFOP, how would you solve the white cross? Would you go for a somewhat risky x-cross, or simply track for a first pair?

I like the four-move cross on orange and red (though I'd probably preserve the blue/white pair for red).
For white:

Executing the U with left index finger.

You can set up 3-move insert doing R U' R instead of R2.
