what meathod is this?

i have no idea what this is called but i use it on a 3x3...

i solve the bottom layer and line the centers up with it then i solve the sides (like the center and then the two squares to the left and right. after that i make a cross on the top layer and do the corners and then i am done.

please help me i get really confused with all the different types of solving

I think that would be just the regular Layer by layer method not really sure of the name haha =)

Basically, you are doing a layer by layer method, though it seems like you do yours different from mine. I still do mine the way I teach my beginners, White cross on top, white corners, middles, yellow cross on bottom, fix middles, place corners, orient corners and done. Now, I have taken a stab at the F2L way, but it is tricky to grasp, so until I get done solving all of my other cubes, I'll stick with my way =-). Hopefully, I will be making a tutorial on all my cubes soon.
