What do they mean by Type D, F, A, etc. Cubes?

They are all different types of 3x3x3 cubes manufactured by their respective companies in China. Please note that they aren't actually made by Rubik's. If you're from Canada, I suggest buying from speedcubeshop or cubedepot. Cubeforyou is really expensive in terms of shipping. Also, I suggest you watch this video. And this one.

A B C D E F are just nicknames for different brands. DIY means it has springs and has screws to make it tighter and looser. The numbers are the "generation", just like on ipods or something (ipod nano, mini, touch). I suggest buying and type F-II, type A-II or A-V.
