Hi
Looking ahead really only works when a step has been committed to "muscle memory" ... you can do it without looking. So your looking can be used to look for the next step while you are at the current step. IMHO looking ahead is not really something a "beginner" should strive for. Most of all looking ahead comes with experience, and it's also kind of an automatic development to make you go faster - avoiding delays. Looking ahead works best when the current step moves only a few cubies. In some cases one may look ahead several steps
