What are some good starter-magic averages?

im just starting out on the 2x4 magic, and id like to know what the average time for begginers should be

I started a few months ago. I was averaging 2.50 ish. Now i average 1.80.

sub-3 is good for a beginner.

I can avg sub-1.3 but i've only done sub-1.5 officially.

Usong the slow method my best is 6.96

i can't seem to use the fast method without getting my magic stuck somehow

I average 1.4 seconds, I've actually gotten a sub-1 before, but only once. I want to practice more but my magic broke (one string came off, only one, but it won't flatten now since the string is still partially attached). I used to be at sub-7, but that was with the SLOW method. The FAST method is way better (aside from the fact that it broke one of my strings).

did it actually break or just come off? if it came partially off then just unstring and restring it.

As for the topic at hand, I got down to sub-2 after a few days, and about 1.5 after maybe 2 weeks? I haven't practiced in forever so I am very inconsistent, but I still get some good singles. I've probably only spent a few hours total practicing magic, it's just not that interesting to me.
