Hey everyone. I just picked up the weishi gts 6x6 and wanted to ask about the overall feel. Maybe it is just the nature of the beast that is 6x6 (I'm new to it) but should it feel so stiff and difficult to turn? I loosened the tensions on it and it moved a lot better but the middle layers ended up with this horrible clack/click like something was wiggling internally and would possibly cause it to pop or worse..... I tightened it back up and lubed it a bit which helped very little. Is this the norm and I just need to really break it in or is that how a 6x6 is supposed to feel? I tried looking up info but only found the yuxin setup vid. Thanks for the info :)

You need to fix the center stock be make sure it is in the right place. There should be 2 knobs and 2 different sized divites in the center piece where the screw goes. Make sure that fits into the core.

Everything appears to be seated well.... I spread the layers to check.... or should I disassemble? Right now the outer layers feel ok and they get stiffer as you go inward with the center two being scratchy or sandpapery and very snug

Ok...I opened it up and everything seems nice and set....any other thoughts? I should also add that the stiffness is on all 3 axis...

Try loosening it up, or test a spring swap. I really don't know anything else you could do.

Yeah, I'll play around with the tensions some more and if I can't them I'll try swapping the springs.... any suggestions for springs that might fit??

Cool. Thanks for your help... I've been tweeking the tensions and it is now feeling scratchy between the middle layers but not as stiff as it was. Don't really want to put much more lube in it...I might try swapping the springs and see what happens
