I see several threads about interesting methods that were long forgotten and just discovered again, or people who used the method and just decided to bring it up here. I decided I'd make a thread about these "Long-Lost" methods.

My Geometry teacher gave me a book with solutions to numerous puzzles, including the pyraminx. However, the instructions tell you to hold the Pyraminx Upside down XD. It tells you to solve one face, then solve the last three edges, then permute the last center.

The method I learned first was the Nourse method. It starts off fairly typically with a cross and beginner F2L. Then you do CP-CO-EP-EO. There was an alg for the last step that was 30 moves long.

The first method I learned was this CF method, where you first did corners, then you used E slice moves and simple insertions to solve 3/4 of the edges of both the top and bottom layer, insert the last two a weird way (similar to 4b of Roux) then rotate and do 4c of roux by just spamming an alg, then correcting EO if you need to.
Simple ;)
